A network health check could save you time and money |
A health check on a network is not as bizarre as it sounds. It allows a trained IT Support Engineer to look at the system health state along with network routing, network traffic and of course, network security.

That statistic alone is a scary one and is something that a System Health Check would flag up. t’s not just backup's that can cause major disruption to a network of computers. Recent Client Review - A system health check was carried out for a firm of accoutants in Leeds recently. The firm had invested heavily over the past three years in IT systems and hardware, however, the systems had not been connected or installed to work efficiently or under a best practice manner.
Findings - After the initial check it was realised that different IT firms had supplied the servers and other relating hardware and had just"bolted" the system together and notht hought about resiliance, security, fail over or even the most basic requirements, speed and back up. An example is that some data was being backed up but some was being stored on a different server where the back up was notpointed.
Resolution - After discussing the issues with the partners of the firm, Nemark designed a new layout for the network, new file paths, storrage areas and data access. this resulted in a faster more secure network that the partners could rely on.
